Roles and Responsibilities
Job Purpose requirement:
Develop, Deploy & Drive Sustainability projects & Sustainability Reporting and Disclosure related practices and processes within the Organization.
Position: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager
Reports to: Global Head- Sustainability
Experience: Minimum 7 to 8 years (5+ years of relevant sustainability experience)
Department: Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
Educational Background: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environment / Chemical etc) or Master’s Degree in Sustainability
Duties & Responsibilities
To contribute in creating a Sustainability strategy & roadmap to achieve the commitment of Carbon and Water Neutrality.
Act as single point of contact for Sustainability, monitoring emerging trends in the Sustainability domain, best practices, and issues
Ensure appropriate internal controls and measurement systems takes place in the organization
Support in developing Integrated Report (IR), Business Responsibility Report & Sustainability Report (BRSR) as per applicable guidelines and regulations
Reporting on disclosures like Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and Task Force on Climate Related Disclosure (TCFD)
Preparation of the sites for assurance visits including conducting an internal assessment
Application writing for various Sustainability awards
Provide support on sustainability related information and requirement to different departments and for business requirements
Familiarity with reporting disclosures and frameworks
Knowledge on Science based targets and well versed with Carbon & water strategies
Preferred to have ISO certifications (ISO 14001 / ISO 14064 / ISO 50001 etc)
Best practices in Sustainability
Preferably should have understanding and experience of formulating strategies across sustainability projects.
Conduct research (field level research, issues & concerns being addressed globally under ESG, environmental responsibility, best practices by corporate and other entities) to contribute to the formulation of effective strategy.
Awareness of issues and challenges in achieving global commitments.
Good project management and partnership management skills
Strong ability to build relationships, interface with a large number of people and network with people and institutions in ESG & sustainability
Multitasking and working under pressure
Excellent skills and interpersonal skills
UG:B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
